Lots of people have been asking me, "When is it going to get back to normal?"  Well, here in Georgetown, Texas and Williamson County, I think it is going to take a while. 
 
#1. "Ok", you ask, "How long?"  From my experience, it takes about a year to get "here", about a year staying "here", and about a year leaving "here".
#2. Define "here".  The bottom. The slow-part.  The slop.  The "not pretty" stuff that goes on in a recession.
#3. "How do I know?"  Good question!  I don't exactly.  Except I pull from friends, economists, business associates, and of course, my personal experiences.  I talk to lots of people in all kinds of walks of life.  Workers, mainly.
#4. "How can I handle this downturn, this recession?"  Well, you can only control you.
#5. "How can I control myself?"  Work...like it is all you, pray like it is all Him!
 
Our real estate market will boom again.  In the meantime, understand it will take some time.
