Well happy 4th of July in Central Texas!

Last 4th it was cool, wet, and rainy.  This year hot, dry, well HOT!  It is funny; I really like warm weather and Annette really likes cool-cold weather.  That always triggers interesting conversations and thermostat discussions!

How about our Central Texas real estate market?  It's opposite of last year, cool not hot.  Probably it's going to slow some more before it gets somewhat better.  But we are still the best market in the country right now.  My guess is the end of the 1st quarter in 2009 we will begin to see some bottoming and summer 2009 it will begin to slip forward. 

This is one of those periods when it is easy to look at the negative and miss the positives of life.  This weekend take the time to understand the value of your liberties and freedoms that we have here in the United States.  It is still a wonderful place to be, and we all should give thanks for those rights. 

Play hard, pray lots, and hug those kids and grandchildren!
