Well, we all have witnessed the mess by TXDOT on missing their budget by 1 Billion! Wow…and I thought I was bad on budgets.
That is just one of the problems. The federal government has withdrawn much of the matching funds for most of our Central Texas road projects for the near future. Yes, this affects us big time. How so? Much-needed projects such as the widening of Williams Drive in Georgetown (25,000 traffic counts daily on a 2-lane road) and the widening of FM1460 from Georgetown to Round Rock (similar traffic counts) are sorely needed.
